ARMED FORCES FREE SWIM
All armed forces veterans or serving persons can access free swimming at Plas Madoc Leisure Centre with a Defence Discount Card.

Once you have your card, come along to Plas Madoc, show your card and enjoy your free swim during any public swim times
This scheme is being provided as an extension to the Armed Forces Free Swimming Initiative and therefore to qualify armed service personnel and veterans must currently reside in Wales.
The armed forces free swimming scheme (AFFS) was first introduced in 2016 and represents the continued commitment to provide the armed forces community with access to services which meet their specific needs and recognise the service they have given to their country.
Under 16's
The Centre benefits from the FSI (Free Swim Initiative) funded by the Welsh Government, meaning we can offer access to selected swim sessions free of charge.
This scheme is for Welsh residents only.
Session available during throughout the year and one additional session during the holidays.
