We have focused on initiatives which will impact on reducing our carbon footprint and ensuring our energy consumption will not be a cause for concern in the future and aid our sustainability.
At Plas Madoc Leisure Centre R‑EV Power And Solar Ltd installed a 134kWp solar panel system which consists of 318 x 420W tier 1 solar panels, which come with a 25-year performance warranty. The solar panel system is expected to generate 111,523 kWh of electricity for Plas Madoc for free. All of the electricity generated by the solar panels will be used purely by Plas Madoc Leisure Centre. The solar installation will reduce our electricity bill significantly and will also offset our CO2 emission by 240,000kg per annum.
