Plas Madoc Centre is best known for it’s leisure swimming pool previously referred to as the "Tropical Lagoon". With it’s incredible wave machine, like none other in the Wrexham area, the pool has a fantastic elephant and snake slide for the younger children, alongside the infamous crocodile the centre has always been a massive hit with the youngsters. The pool still has it's fantastically fun spiral water slide for older children & grown ups too. Fun pool activities are regularly available during school holidays such as Parent and Paddlers.

Children's swimming lessons are available in the pool, places fill up fast so make sure you contact the centre to book your child a place. For adults, the pool runs a number of Aqua Aerobics classes throughout the week & offers an opportunity for lane swimming. Over 50's and Over 60's swimming is also available.

 

Last admission to the pool is 45 minutes before pool closing time.

The fantastic wave machine is available twice every hour during general swim periods.

Our pool is a free form leisure pool, broadly measuring 25m x 25m.

Pool temperature is usually between 30 & 31 degrees.

 

The Parent / Child swim ratio is 1 adult to 1 child for children aged 4 & under, 1 adult to 2 children for children aged 5 to 7 and children 8 and over can swim alone (but their parents are still responsible for their actions and behaviour). For Parent & Paddler sessions, the ratio differs slightly where it is 1 adult to 2 children for ages 4 & under, which is excellent for parents not able to attend under normal ratios.
