Exercise has powerful effects on the body, it can actually prevent certain diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, strokes and reduce cancer by up to 50%. There is strong evidence that participating in exercise will lead to a long and healthy life.

Besides the physical effects exercise can massively improve your mental health too. Exercise releases endorphins in the brain and it's proven to lift your mood. Exercise can improve your quality of sleep, improve your self-esteem and improve your stress levels too.

Exercise is also a great way to lose weight too. A combination of healthy eating and exercise will guarantee you weight loss results.

How amazing is exercise? If you are new to exercise then your probably thinking where do you start. Baby steps are important, focus on something that you enjoy. Walking, cycling, fitness classes. Whatever it maybe make sure you start small. It's been proven that when wanting to develop a habit small consistent steps are recommended. This will keep you consistent and less likely to fail.

Make sure you enjoy it too. Doing what you love will not only make you look good but make you feel awesome too. Who doesn't want that?

Another tip would be to get an exercise diary. Pin it to your fridge and organize your week. Choose days where you have time to go and do a little 30 mins of exercise. Remember something is better than nothing. Once you start developing the fitness bug then there will be no stopping you. Have fun with it. Try new things too, be adventurous. If it makes you happy then your on to a winner.
