DUTY OFFICER

Plas Madoc Leisure Centre is looking to recruit 2 Duty Officer posts

2 x full time posts (35 hours per week)

Salary: £19,171 per annum

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person who can work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.  Ideally we are looking to recruit an experienced person who can become a valuable member of our Duty Officer team.  Your duties will include ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the building, have direct responsibility for the reception team, be a key holder for the business and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

You will be required to follow a rota pattern which includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

RECEPTIONIST (Part-Time - Temporary) 

Part time Receptionist (20 hours per week) - Temporary 12 month post

 

This post offers you an opportunity to join the Splash Community Trust team at Plas Madoc Leisure Centre.  We are a successful Social Enterprise and a not for profit Charity.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person who can work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service. Our receptionists work in a busy environment and the role requires accuracy and attention to detail.  You will be taking bookings, handling cash, managing all memberships, administrative duties and dealing with telephone enquiries.  

You will be required to work a rota which will include evenings, alternative weekends and bank holidays. The post holder will work 20 hours each week.

This is an example of a two week rota pattern but shifts may vary slightly. 

Week one – Monday 16.00-21.30         Week two -   Tuesday 13.30-19.30

(23.5hrs)      Tuesday 14.30-19.30        (16.5hrs)      Wednesday 08.30-13.30

                  Thursday 16.30-21.30                         Thursday 14.00-19.30

                  Saturday 10.00-14.00

Sunday 10.00-14.00

 

The post meets minimum wage requirements and is for a period of 12 months.

LIFEGUARD

RLSS POOL LIFEGUARD – 31.5 hours per week @ £7.10 per hour or minimum wage

You will be required to work a two week rota which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated person who can work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service. Your duties will include promoting a safe pool environment, assist in the upkeep of the cleaning and maintenance procedures within the pool area, adhere to the Centre’s policy for Health & Safety, must be able to work unsupervised at times and have a flexible approach to work.

Candidates must hold a valid RLSS Pool Lifeguard qualification or STA Pool Lifeguard qualification and must be willing to attend regular training sessions to ensure your qualification remains valid.
