The benefits of weight training for women

There are many benefits of weight training for women. Unfortunately these can be overlooked due to the misconception that weight training will make you look ‘bulky, overly muscular or masculine. High levels of the hormone oestrogen make it difficult for women to become overly muscular. The changes related to resistance training are generally related to muscle tone, endurance and strength.
